Scheme documents: SID, SAI and KIM

Before you invest in any mutual fund scheme, you are entitled to read its scheme documents, and we encourage it. Code 4(b) of the AMFI Code of Conduct requires a distributor to urge investors to read these carefully. There are three.

SIDScheme Information Document

Describes a specific scheme: its investment objective, asset allocation, strategy, risk factors, riskometer, benchmark, load structure, and the plans and options available.

SAIStatement of Additional Information

Covers the AMC, trustees and sponsor, and the legal, tax and operational framework common across the fund house's schemes. It sits alongside the SID.

KIMKey Information Memorandum

A shorter summary of the SID, usually accompanying the application form. It points you to the full SID and SAI for the detail.

Where to read them

Every scheme document is published on the relevant AMC’s website and is available through the official industry sources. When you invest through Nico Wealth, we make the documents for your chosen scheme available to you first.
